Rodney Crice Named Landscape Designer

The Decor Group of NKY is proud to announce that Rodney Crice has been appointed as a landscape designer for the local decorating, lighting and property maintenance company.

“Rodney brings 25 years experience in land development, landscape architecture, site design and construction,” said Karralea List, owner of the Decor Group. “His knowledge and creativity uphold our mission to enhance the image of our clients’ homes and businesses.”

The Decor Group provides grounds services such as landscape design and installation, mowing, pruning, aeration, retaining walls, sod, irrigation, creative annual plantings, landscape lighting, holiday decor and more.

Mrs. List believes Mr. Crice understands clients’ needs and visions of their landscapes, so he can create “living spaces that mesh indoor comfort with outdoor ambiance.”

A University of Kentucky graduate with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Mr. Crice said he takes a “holistic” approach to his designs for homes and businesses.

“My favorite part of being a landscape designer is seeing people’s ideas and visions become reality,” he explained. “I believe it is essential to examine all factors that impact a design. A landscape design should ‘fit’ into your surroundings. For instance, I love landscapes that explode with color and movement, landscapes that teem with birds and butterflies, and landscapes that blend native flora into the outdoor space.”
